Coastal Seatrucking Ltd. is based in Campbell River, Vancouver Island, BC and has been serving the logging, aquaculture and marine industries for over 30 years.

 

Their 98-ft landing craft (LC) Inlet Raider has been completely re-fitted in 2016 and, under Transport Canada’s Delegated Statutory Inspection program, the vessel’s inspections and certifications have been delegated to RINA Classification and Certification Canada of Montreal, QC, with a Richmond-based naval architect/surveyor. Coastal Seatrucking Ltd. is fully insured and WCB certified.

 

The Inlet Raider has a large cargo capacity, shallow draft, 14-ft bow ramp and long-reach hydraulic crane: these capabilities, common to the handful of LCs on this coast, enable the loading and offloading of cargo and large equipment in tight locations where there’s no wharf infrastructure and, at most, a shore ramp or bulkhead to nose up to. 

 

The Inlet Raider is capable of 12-14 knots and Coastal Seatrucking offers a 24-hour service, which make this landing craft the perfect solution for fast, reliable jobs, and it's about the only vessel in the area that can move freight up some rivers of the BC coast.

When needing to move large volumes of material and big equipment, the Inlet Raider tows or pushes CST’s 125’x34’ 500-ton capacity ramp barge, the USN #1.
